Has anyone fed uncooked rice to their flock?

I'd throw it out. Not good food value anyway, cooked or not.

How do you figure rice has no good food value, cooked or not? A good portion of the world's human population subsists largely on rice.

I just had to check this out. I accidentally dumped half a Costco bag of Lundberg rice on my floor. It’s brown rice. I feel terrible just dumping it. There’s nothing wrong with it, other than the fact it probably has a lot of cat hair in it ...
I’ll go easy on them, just a little daily.

My 14yo son told me that these are the stupidest chickens we have had so far...so if it weeds a few out...oh well??

I’m sure they will be fine.

Use is as a scratch grain. Brown rice has more vitamins than the polished white rice. If it contains insects, then even better as will have some concentrated protein.
