when you set the eggs under you're broody or in the incubator?

Well I sure enough did. I set some Barred Rock and RIR eggs under my Broody BR hen Pepper. I've been SO busy with making stuff to put in the fair that I COMPLEATLY forgot when the eggs are due!!!!

Well I suppose that it's going to be a nice suprise when the baby chicks come.

Can you go back with messages to see when you got them? You should do like I do write everything down on a calender. From experience it really helps.

I almost never track when I set eggs under a hen, I figure when she's done she's done. I usually do mark eggs in the bator though, but right now it's almost full, and I think about half have dates on them

Guess I'll have to candle a lot, to check for any internal pippers!

I'm compulsive on dates, I have a spread sheet set up on the compute for the incubator with what was put in and when, then the eggs are marked to match. Then it also has the dates to candle, when to move to the tray, expected hatch date, how many are progressing at each candling, then the total percentage that hatched out of how many were set....

Hey.. I warned you when I said... I'm compulsive!
