Has anyone had this experience

I have 26 chickens in my flock---12 of which are dark cornish pullets. My rocks and wyandottes will jump in my lap to be petted but my cornish willpeck at me incessantly--- not enough to really hurt most of the time. ... then they will peck at the chicken in my lap! Also my andalusion roo is not too happy when "his" girls jump in my lap--- he doesn't do anything except pace or stand and watch.

Yes, my girls do that too. I take scratch seed in when i go in to sit and let those girls that are pecking at my clothes have all the scratch they want. They do finally go find other things to do. Some even get the courage to finally get up on my lap like the others.
