Her Marans are Fitch Ripley, Staffordshire & Fugate lines, not Barber. I am not familiar with the TinkerToy person you are talking about, but I have purchased and hatched eggs from Anissa (cowgirl) a couple of times when I was first starting out- Welsummers, Cuckoo Marans, Ameracaunas, and been very pleased with the results from all three. My Welly & Marans lay dark brown eggs & my black Ameracaunas lay blue eggs, not green.
