Has anyone kept ducks in a suburban back yard?

I live in a suburban subdivision but I'm about to start my first hatch of Pekins this week. I live off a huge pond/small lake so we have wild geese, Blue Herring, and other birds here all the time. The birds are always quiet so I'm hoping my ducks will be too.

I live in kind of the suburbs? But I live on 2.5 acres.

If you do get ducks I suggest MUSCOVIES! They make no noise and are soo nice
