Has anyone made a vest for a chicken?

I just had some funny thoughts running through my head. My fiance and I have decided to host our wedding in our backyard. I immediately thought how cute it would be to somehow involve my two big cornish sweethearts George and Greta.

I then imagined the two of them wearing a vest. Something that covers the breast and then ties up around back under the wings and behind the neck. Something low cut to show off their ridiculously cute cleavage, and something lacy!
I just can't get this silly idea out if my head and it makes me somehow joyously happy to envision my two big girls strutting around wearing vests!

Maybe a frilly lacy one for George, since she has the cleavage and is more buxom, and a tuxedo style one for greta, as she is leaner in body shape.
LOL! What do you think. Chickens at my wedding, taking things too far?

Thanks for the link! Tiny Tim is so cute! I never thought of a full coat, ooh, maybe I could make it look like a dress! A sleeveless sun dress.

I think I may have to try it now. Thanks for the replies everyone, I was beginning to think no one else thought chickens in vests would be cute!

I'm not a keen sewer, but I have to get George into a pink sun dress. I just have to!

you could make a chicken saddle into like a vest by putting lace on the cross the front part and even add lace to the back to make a ruffled dress.
congrats
when's the wedding?

Chickens saddles. Yes, they may be my only hope. I've never made one, but at least patterns exist for them! Yes, I am bored today and attempted a prototype vest. I have come to the conclusion that I cannot sew! LOL, its soooo laughable. This whole idea is just silly, I am laughing at myself!

Hmm, maybe I could try the diaper idea too. I could combine the saddle and the diaper to make an outfit!

With lots of lace and ribbons.
Davaroo you are right, what is the world coming to!

Now I have to find the chicken saddle patterns...
Another funny note, George was scared of the vest, and rightfully so.

Hoppy, the wedding is this August 15th.

My friend was once commissioned to sew a prom dress for her friend's hamster. I think therefore it is possible to put a chicken into a vest
