Has anyone noticed?

The forum is changing. Now yes there are + things, but somethings have caught my eye. I could be wrong, but IDK.


The social forums are getting more attention than the info forums

There is a tonnnn of rule breaking

I think people get bored and make up stuff, lying about birds blah blah

You have to check feedback before trusting someone

With the I guess spring population boom there is a TON of RUDE people. I'm not saying I'm a golden member, but if I am told I'm rude I apologize.



So is it just me or is the forum changing for better and for worse?

I haven't really been here long enough the judge one way or another but... I think when any forum grows quickly there tends to be a lot of 'issues'. Once the 'chicken boom' calms down I think it will go back to what it was before.

i have noticed just being a new member but have read many threads before becomming a member, it is becomming more social. thats a shame. yes i see there is some rudeness too, moderaters most likely should take notice.

I know the mods are on top of the rudeness, or trying to be. I'd hate to have their job, talk about hard work. I have only been a member for about 5 months I think, but stalked the forum for about a year

Thanks. I have a few names myself, but will keep them to myself. I have noticed my problem, curiosity. That's gonna kill me one day. I take things or notice things one way that may not be the way its meant to be noticed....

I haven't been a member all that long (since Feb, I think) but honestly I had some rudeness right from the start. It also seems to me that if one person is rude and it's "approved" by the masses then it's okay? Just my observation.

Some people get to voice their opinions but if the lesser popular person does then they get jumped on. ....again, just my observation.

If you take these boards seriously then they can cause you some grief. Me? I enjoy finding out info about the chickens, I reply to the threads that catch my attention but I don't feel obligated to stroke anyone's ego.

I have noticed that a lot of people are not open to other people's opinions and jump ugly the first chance they can get. Always has to be a fight...

and The BYC "Famous" people get posts on their topics first and longer.
