Has anyone ordered any of the assortments from Holderreads?

Do they indicate which types they include? Or is it all a big suprise watching them feather out?

I bought a box of Appleyards from Holderreead and got 2 packing peanuts. Breeds were identified on the inside of the lid, so I knew what my peanuts were.

I've heard others say that the breeds were written on the inside of the lid.

You can go to his website and see what breeds he has available. Different breeds of duck look different when they are babies. The color, the number and placement of eye stripes will tell you what they are. It's even easier to identify ducklings from Holderread because he will be sending you purebreds.

I think Holderreads is very good about letting you know what you are getting. And their stock is very nice! I have enjoyed my ducks from them and no matter what you get, you will love them!
