Has anyone ordered EE's from MPC?

I got one EE from MPC last spring. She is a light colored typical "partridge" looking bird, a little larger than my EE's from other sources. She lays at least 4-5 nice green eggs every week. Has a great personality--very curious. Her name is Sassy.

I have three EEs.

The oldest (Twig, 4 years) used to lay pale blue, but now whe's older they've lost the colour and look pale grey.

Her grandaughter (Eowyn, 2 years) lays pale green eggs.

Whilst her daughter (Kidjo, 1 year) lays pale blue eggs, same as Twigs.

I don't know why Eowyn lays green eggs where Twig lays light blue, but she does. Perhaps it's some other genetics having an effect?

This is one of my EE's from MPC - they both look very similar except for some differences in the tail. She's laying medium olive colored eggs.

I have 2 EE from MPC, one looks just like the one in the picture in the post above me. One is white & buff, (i think she's crossed w/ a white leghorn as shes the flightiest one in the bunch but she lays a huge whiiteish egg) The other EE lays green eggs.

Here are earlier pics of my three - they were about 6 months old here. They've since filled out, their colors are much more vivid - the blue and tan's colors are much more distinct with more blue showing, she's very pretty, the black and tan has much more black now with deeper brown and her hackles are irridescent black/green, the partridge is much the same as in the pics. Two lay beautiful blue eggs and one lays a pinkish egg. One of mine is extremely shy - never approaches, and runs if I try to approach her, the other two will approach for treats and don't seem to be afraid of people but they aren't seeking out my attention either. Not my favorite birds, personality wise, but their eggs sure do make a nice addition to the basket.

Of the 3 EEs I have ordered from MPC ony one had no problems, she looks a lot like a Salmon Faverolle. One developed a cross beak (common in hatchery EE's), and I have kept her with few accomodations to her needs, the 3rd had splayed legs, and we culled her. I love my EEs, but will prob find a breeder, not hatchery, to get Aracauna or Ameracana (sp), so I will have less chance of having the cross beak problem again.

Both the birds I have have great personalities, and the cross-beaked one can be aggressive when treats are on the line...

Ok, so the most common color is like Featherz? the brown...but they are still pretty! And colored eggs is what I really want. Knowing my luck,I'll get the most common color and the eggs will be brown LOL because out of my entire flock...they all lay brown eggs!

We have four MPC EE's that are four months old. Two are pure white (well.. pure when not covered in spaghetti sauce!) and the other two are a buff color. One of the buffs has some greyish in her hackles that I'm curious as to if they will darken when she gets older. They are very sweet birds.
