hi Stina, I've not ordered button quails from Garrie, however, getting from him is basically getting from the God Father of button quails....he has shipped in MANY of the colors you see today it's thanks to him that many of the oclors you see are here today....so if you don't get them from him theres no saying what you'll get from someone else.... he's the one to go to....very nice guy to!

I bought Garrie's splash/white mix off of ebay. Had 6 out of 14 hatch with a genesis 1588. They are 3 weeks old now and doing well. Will be pure white unless the splash develops. I understand that can take a bit longer to show up. 42% hatch rate, not the greatest, but I keep thinking the altitude here (5280 ft) might be a factor, so I've heard.

For shipped buttons that is not bad at all

Sounds like a decent shipped hatch rate. Garrie is the Man when it comes to his buttons. If he is selling splashed I would think that they would be a fairly strong genetic tend to be splash (wish mine were as inclinded!!!) Buttons do not breed true so even if the eggs don't hatch as you had hoped it would never be the fault of the seller.

Garrie is a good friend of mine. Both his Buttons and other birds are TOP NOTCH! You won't be dissapointed...and he is always willing to send you a whole nother order for just shipping if you have a lot of eggs broken when you recieve them.
I gotta get him to join this forum...but he is very busy.
