I am putting together ideas from many of you, thanks, to build a future coop. I want to put it on concrete piers but be able to also roll it around on occasion, not every day. Have any of you done that? Would it be way too heavy, i am basing the plans on the just right coop.

my coop is not on wheels, but we got -scavenged - one of those pop up canopy things from garbage day. We put wood strips along the bottom attached shade cloth and training wheels (My husband can hardly get out of the neighborhood on trash day) and we call it the chicken play pen. We wheel it up to the run and put the chickens in it-run door opens in, and the play pen door opens into the play pen. Then we wheel them out of my way when we want to clean the run and coop. We have a mess of chickens, and it is just easier to get on with things when they are 'outta' the way.
I would imagine a rolling coop should be easy if you only have a few chickens.
if you put a hitch on it you could pull it with the lawn tractor.
