Has anyone raised wild florida turkeys?

Has anyone ever raised wild florida turkeys? What is there temperment?

Not me! They are called Wild for a reason. Probably the same reason, domestic turkeys were bred inn the first place?

Not wild Florida turkeys but I have had Rio Grande and Easterns and Rio crosses. They pretty much behave like any turkey. I have noticed when penned they tend to freak out a little and act more nervous when you enter the pen. When I've let them range with the other turkeys they settle right down while being a little more standoffish. They also tend to roost very high in the trees.
