As I and others have said, calcium deposits. Do you feed them extra calcium? Are they laying eggs? What type of feed?
I just feed them regular layer mix from the local store, no supplemental calcium, no laying hormones. What's calcium deposits? Does that mean too much calcium?

Calcium deposits just mean there’s excess calcium that the hen is digesting. I feel like an idiot because you sent a photo of an egg and I asked if they were laying eggs!!!! This is what high school and homework does to you!!! :lau Yes calcium deposits just means too much calcium. It won’t harm the hen unless it’s given to them for a long time. The effects of long term calcium overdose include extremely weird eggs with calcium deposits, kidney and liver failure in some chickens, bone weakness and organ damage. You don’t have anything worry about, though. You’re not giving supplements so it was just a “glitch”.
