Has anyone tried one of these handheld pluckers?

These handheld pluckers have been popping up on adds all over the net and I am wondering if anyone has tried them?

Kinda sounds like bull crap to me but maybe it would work okay for the smaller feathers and hairs often missed? Someone here should do a product review, for science!

My first thought was that it is a gimmick and the videos of it in action didn't really convince me that it worked but there is one review on Amazon Australia saying that it is game changer, it seems that the reviews on Amazon US are a bit mixed.
They are cheap enough to buy but I don't have anything to try it on at the moment unless I catch a flying rodent and if it doesn't work then it would just be another item going to landfill.

Seems a bit gimmicky to me. I hand-pluck though, and am just used to doing it that way.
