Has anyone tried the open-egg hatch method before? (HELP)

its set up in a big round metal tank, i have 3 heating pads for them, and a buuuunch of food. they would be fine if they were left for a month. when they are big enough, our neighbor will take the wire lid off the tank and they will be able to eat the grower feed we have for the bigger chickens. we have a gravity waterer that we attached hoses to so that they would always have running water that doesnt freeze.

The success rate if you do everything right and you are very experienced the best you can hope for is 50 percent hatch rate. Sad.

i can remotely turn the cameras, so as to lift the lid, and let a chick out once it hatches. i have succesfully let 5-6 chicks out now.

sorry it took me so long to respond, been going all over the place lol. I "have" the footage, but i have 10 hours of it XXDDDD. it would take a while to make somethin watchable lol.
