Has anyone tried these to stop aggressive chickens?

We have 10 hens - plenty of room, food water - semi free range with large completely wired (chicken wire) to protect them from all the hawks we have around our farm.

I have identified 3 aggressive hens (2 Ameraucana and a RIR) who have already killed one hen and I caught them pecking another 2 days ago. We put BluKote on her pecked head, moved her to a pen by herself with food, water, etc. I am afraid to put her back in with the group.
Someone sent me the link for these ??blinders? Someone suggested Dremeling the aggressive hens beaks to remove the point. What do others do when they know which birds are aggressive - put them in the pot?

Thanks

I have/had, (she has much improved with age) a hen that needed to wear pinless peeper on and off starting at 4 months old and til she was nearly 3 years old...

These don't necessarily change their attitudes, although it does tone them down a bit after wearing them for a month or two. You have to leave them on for at least one month, if not more. You can take them off to give them a break, but keep them handy in case they go back to being aggressive as this one did. It takes the bird a few days to really get the hang of these, although within 24 hours, they have figured out how to eat and drink. They can't see directly in front of them, but they can see up, down and to the sides.

You don't need the pliers if you have someone to help you at first. I have mastered getting them on this one as she has worn them so many times. LOL Just make sure to keep them centered in the nostrils and they are not catching on any skin inside the nose.

Good luck with your flock!
