Has anyone tried WormGuard Plus ?

My head is spinning from all the wormers out there. Cant figuere out which one to use. Has anyone tried Wormguard Plus?

Does Ivermectin work? Or is Valbazen better?

All wormers work, it just depends on the usage. You want to use the one that treats what your birds have. Look at the active ingredient in the wormer... Many wormers go by different names but are the same ingredient . Ivomectrian works on most worms as well as mites... It can be hard on ill birds so keep that in mind. Safe guard is safe to use on most birds but kills certain worms and helps prevent Blackhead in turkey and peafowl. Does not treat mites. Valbazen is in the same family . Wazine treats only round worms....
The thing with wormers is, you want to treat for the problem worms. You want to treat long enough that they do not reproduce. You want to retreat in 14 days to kill the eggs that hatch inside the birds..as most wormers only kill live worms...not eggs. You want to switch wormers every so many months so the worms do not build up tolerance to one type of wormer..which is another important reason to treat with wormer for the suggest amount of time..not stop after a day etc...
