We had that exact chicken coop. And 14 days ago something got in and killed ALL of my Bantams (9) but Charlie the Rooster.. .! We had them for over a year and I really really loved them. I cried for a week and decided to get rid of that @#$%$ House. You see the problem was this with my Hens: if you do not close the Door every night (we did not have to because the house was inside a what we thought safe Run area ) and something gets in they have no way to get out or fly up or anything ! We now decided to get a 5X6 House that stands 6 feet tall.
The little house is cute and all, but don't waste your money on that one. Get a real house. I don't want you to cry they way I did with mine.
Good luck

I'm so sorry you had to experience that - that would be devestating to find your entire flock killed. Your new coop sounds like it will be a great one.
Here's my main coop - I love that I can stand up in it and there's alot of room for everyone to move about. When I close them up at night I feel pretty secure about it. There's also a section inside that's hardware clothed for a brooder area - it was supposed to be for "storage" but I haven't used it for storage since it was built HAHA!
I could tell right away that the little coop isn't anywhere near predator proof - it's too flimsy, has too many large gap areas and the door is really easy to move off. Not to mention how easy the side is to open up where the clean out door is located. Something could easily get into the coop as it stands - so I'll probably spend another $100 just to predator proof the coop. Then my plan is to put it inside a hardware cloth run and it will only be used during the warmer months as a temporary housing situation. I will have to increase the ventilation as well.
