Has anyone used the antibiotic linxmed-sp? I can't figure the doasage amount for my hen.

I picked up a packet from my local agway, but the package is not configured for smaller doses (like 2 or 2 gallon water containers). The girl at the store was unsure. I'm also confused because the package also says not for laying hens yet it is sold for poultry, And would her eggs be safe for consumption in the future?

Thank you for any help you can give me. My search of the byc forum was not turning up any results.
