Has anyone used this incubator

Do they work well, was wanting to get two of them so I can do duck eggs in one and chicken eggs in another.It might need a little modification like vent holes and use the lid and not the large cotton ball-looking thing on top.
They sell a lot of similar ones some even have turners.

So you had one and didn't like it or you have another incubator and therefor you don't need to buy one?

I known good incubators can be expensive, but you will get more reliable hatches with less fussing with temp and humidity if you invest in a good one. One that many people have here on BYC is the Nurture Right 360 (I have one as well). It is about $150 at TSC and Amazon.

Yep. It's so much better to just spend the money and get a reliable incubator. The one time $150 will save you so much grief. These really cheap incubators tend to have extremely low hatch rates, malposition issues... etc.

I had plastic top one that was given to me and it never seem to keep temp.That is why I was looking at foam ones.

Theres enough stress to hatching eggs. In wouldn't add to it with a chinabator like that. I use farm innovators their 150 bucks my old one has to be tinkered with my new one is pretty steady. I consider what I have the lowest version bator I would go for a reliable hatch.

Yes, but was it one of those cheap knock offs on amazon? My first incubator was one of those, was about $50. Could not hold humidity. Holds temp OK. I use it as a warmer for newly hatched chicks at this point.
