has this ever happened to you? (no I am not crazy)

something weird has been happening... I dont know for how long.. but I have become more aware of it lately because people have mentioned it so then I started paying attention

my son has a saying... "Mommas right, Mommas wise... Mommas gut never lies"

my friend (my best friend like my sister) says I must use my powers for good not evil... (joking)

so here it is...

I will get a gut feeling... cant describe it... for example...

within the past few months when ever I walk through Walmart and walk past the baby section I think.. hmm gonna have to start buying that soon.. (thinking for my son and lont time G/F) I have never mentioned this to anyone... On Saturday night my bestest friend and I were an Niagara Falls with my kids and she pulled out the pregnancy test and off to the bathroom we RUN... and yep the pee on the stick said + she almost passed out I was in shock... (she JUST ended an abusive marriage and has been seeing this guy for a few months.. and well I guess you can fill in the rest. She was told she will never have kids.. to much scar tissue on the tubes... and this is when hubby became abusive. and BOOM with boy toy for 6 months and she is prego.

I had a dream a few months ago that I was on the scene of a BAD car accident... (I am a nurse) within a few days of the dream hubby and I were driving down one of the country roads when we seen the plume of smoke as the car wrecked over the next hill... it was bad but as soon as the EMT got there I gave my info and booked it outta there...

A few years ago we were told that we were closing the nursing home location that I worked at... some of us will be offered jobs at the other locations and some will be laid off.. (I was laid off) But one of my co-workers was pissy and said... Oh I bet you Mary will stay cause you know she is doing the admin right... I got that gut feeling and said nope she is gone too... and sure enough she was laid off too.

Last summer I ran into a friend I had not seen in years he was out walking his dog and we got to talking and he said he was trying to get into better shape he was getting married...I cam home and said to hubby.. "Ran into Jim today.. he does not look all that great., looks like he is going to have a heart attack before the wedding" sure enough he at a heart attack about a month before the wedding... and ex-finance left him while he was in the hospital...

these are things I can remember off the top of my head.... but what the heck I am starting to spook myself...

No you are not crazy, I get those gut feelings also. My family has learned to trust my gut. I think some people are just more in tune with things then others. I know when someone close to us is in trouble sometimes I have a hard time figuring out who sometimes. Told something to my birth dad when I was little it came true he beat me until I would never again feel anything so I blocked my gut feeling for a long time. Now I have been working on getting more in touch with my gut feelings.

I have earthquake radar. My most famous one was talking to a gal at work and I said there is gonna be a big one somewhere, 5 minutes later that huge quake hit Turkey. She got all wide eyed and told me to never come near her again.

Yes you are crazy, but not because you have those predicitions.

I reckon ya'll have heard of the fella on the radio that's sayin the Rapture is coming and the world is gonna have massive Earthquakes on May 21st.

I don't hold much stock in what he says, but it does bring to mind that place in the Book where it says,

"'In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.

I too, have those odd "spooky" feelings more and more. Sometimes I walk past a person or place, and get this queasy creepy feeling, and have to scoot myself outta there. Later on, I will see something on the news about that person or place. Could just be that old "woman's intuition" thing, or something bigger....Makes a body wonder......

I've had this "thing" with dreams since I was a young woman. It seems I never dream like normal people, it's always some sort of warning that I've learned to heed.

*When I lived in California (my family was in Louisiana)...I dreamed that my then 2 year old nephew wandered off & drowned in a pond. I could see him so clearly...right down to what he was wearing. I saw the whole horrible thing & couldn't do a thing to stop it. First thing in the morning, I called my brother & told him. My sister-in-law was listening in & began to scream. The clothes I described was a brand new outfit she bought for my nephew the day before...right down to the little sneakers with trains on them. They had just bought a new home which I had never visited. I described the pond area perfectly.

*My youngest daughter lived in Baltimore. I dreamed she met a man in a pub in her neighborhood...he seemed great & he was going to walk her home. He raped & murdered her. Again, I saw every horrible detail. I immediately called her crying & described the pub, the guy, what she was wearing. She swore she'd never been in a place that fit that description & she also didn't own a sweater like I described. I hoped it was a mistake. About 6 months later she moved. Guess where a friend took her?? The exact same pub I described. The minute she realised, she hauled a$$ out of there & called me in tears. The next day, a friend gave her a Christmas present...yep, the sweater I described in my dream (ice blue color, cowl neck, very soft like angora)....coincidence?? or warning??

*I dreamed I was on fire...felt the pain...felt the smoke burning my lungs...woke up soaking wet with sweat...horrible...it was 1;17am. The next day I found out my closest childhood friend whom I hadn't seen in a few years had died in a house fire...around 1am.

There's lots more, but I guess you get the picture. I don't consider myself crazy...I guess it's a good thing cause if people believe you, you can prevent something from happening. It's just very hard to see some of it...the dream with my daughter really rocked me...it was so horrible to see that!

i have moments like that sometimes, but i think we all do... we just don't remember the times we were wrong so much as the times we were right... lol.

a few years ago, i had a dream about a plane crashing (sort of a recurring theme in my dreams, since childhood, though i can't figure out why). Anyways, the next day, a plane crashed in san diego, i believe. it had just taken off from the SS Abraham Lincoln, where my best friend was stationed, which is why I remember that particular incident so well.

and a few months ago, i was watching the news with my mom, and they were talking about some 14 year old girl from victorville who was missing, presumably with her older boyfriend, and her dog. I mentioned to my mom that they were holed up in a motel in vegas. where were they found? a motel in vegas.
