I love the pics! Chipmunks are a favorite of mine.


And I have a pip!!! Little one is a loud mouth too! I can hear her from 4 ft away. Hopefully pictures soon too!

Any luck yet???   I hope they hatch out okay.  After waiting and watching for so long, it would be a real disappointment to come out empty handed. 

I float tested too.  One sunk immediately, so I pulled it.  Two bobbers, so I pulled them.  I put those that passed back in the bator, but nothing seems to be happening.  This is day 23 for this batch, so if they haven't hatched tomorrow, I'm going to condemn them too.  My current hatch count is 22.  Lots of little chickies.  (won't have to buy any this year!!)  

I lost both of them. I took it hard this morning. It was my RIR eggs and my silkie boy. The baby was black just like him with feathers on the feet! I have 7 more due to hatch next Friday! I am praying that they all make it! Thank you for asking about us and caring! Everyone on here is so kind! Thank you so much

I lost both of them. I took it hard this morning. It was my RIR eggs and my silkie boy. The baby was black just like him with feathers on the feet! I have 7 more due to hatch next Friday! Day 20, no pips so far. Breathing....

Hi there! Any pips now?.. It won't be long. Mine started about midday on day 20....most that I think will hatch were out by midnight on day 21. Hope yours start pipping, zipping and popping soon!

I found the secret to getting a pip is to go on a date night. we only have one night a month that works between DH's work schedule and childcare availability. When I got Bach I heard peeping from half way across the room. Took me a while to find the pip, but I found it!
