Little splash fully fluffed. Only 4 have hatched fully.
13,10,9,6 are all out. No other pips.

Had to rescue one of the little blues because it got shrink wrapped and leg was stuck to the membrane and clotted to the shell. (it's doing okay but it's a little tired).

Only 4 out of the 12 hatched sadly. I think either just really rough shipping, but a lot of them developed and it looks like they might have stopped in this last week. I've been holding out giving it a few more days but the other sets are coming so they will be in lockdown come tomorrow technically.

Other incubator is in lock down now.

I have at least 6/7 that aren't developing out of it I'm pretty sure.

But it looks like the temp dropped to 95-96 overnight. I have it being heated back up as I think removing the tray/motor it turned down the heat in the box for whatever reason. I've got a towel around it but hoping 6 hours at a lower temp doesn't affect them so late in the game. Crossing my fingers. I feel like I'm having major bad luck & combo of the shipped eggs. Future ones we are only doing on farm eggs after this lol.

Nice yeah I figured maybe a day or so late for a few hours.

No pips as of yet. I think the geese are the ones plotting the downfall of the chicks since they are in the same room. (Just something to blame) lol.

Do you get much for your mixes?

I was planning on taking some down to the local trade show in the next month or two when they do a swap so planning for that in a few. I've noticed locally at least people do not want straight runs they just want pullets, which I can understand in some areas.

Day olds? Haven't hatched or sold any other than OEs at $10 per. I've sold 15 so far. Got 8 still in the coop. I've got a customer waiting on a couple pullets each of OE and BCM as soon as I gender them at 20 per and I'll keep the rest of the OEs.

Yes, you'll get that the majority of the time. I'm fortunate to have a few buyers on stand by for all my boys I hatch.

First pip today! One of the BCM's seems to be saying hello. I see no others but do hear peeps. So let the hatching commence? lol. I also have a few of my Marans sitting on some that are hitting day 18 so will see what we get out in the coop .
