I'll give it another day but still no pips. I have everything calibrated (temps been consistently around 99.8-100.5. Humidity was good etc. I'm just wondering if they are ultra slow or if they just quit in the last day. Shall see.

Did you candle at lockdown? Maybe try candling tonight... Watch for movement, listen for peeps and smell them.

How many have hatched so far? Shipped eggs are always a gamble. Hopefully they're just late.

I haven't had anything hatch yet. I'm wondering if I got the date wrong and I'm just have a mental lapse. I also was weighing them throughout to ensure they had been losing weight and they have. I'm just kinda stumped. I have hatched many of eggs and maybe it's just the luck of the draw here.

@wrathsfarm do you have a good candler brand by chance?

So Friday night was hatchday. Last night is technically 1 day past. There's hope still...

Just an update.

No pips I re candled and got a good thermometer/hygrometer out.

Temps at 101 (little high for forced air), and humidity is running at 67% high it's really humid in the NE this last week so maybe a combination of warmer temps and the higher humidity just drowned them/cooked them.

I'll give it to day 25 before calling it a wraps.

If for some reason this doesn't happen I will do a new one with a closer/nearby farm that doesn't have to travel across the US to get to me.

Just an update. No survivors sadly. Too high humidity and bad shipping/handling it looks like.

I'll start another hatch-a-long when I get some new eggs in the next week or two. Sorry again for the sad post, but the old adage don't count your chickens before they hatch applies here.
