Yep, I almost always confused the day count because of this, even after I knew better.
But I never candled until Day 7 then 10, 14, 18.

If you put them in on December 1, and today is December 2, then today is day 1.
Day 3 will be December 4.

Edit to add: the post saying the eggs are in the incubator is dated November 30, so today would be day 2. I think this forum may be dating the posts with my local day/time, not OP's local day/time. That's good for at least half a day's worth of confusion, going from Australia to the United States!

Yeah, sorry. Time is a confusing thing. I didn't know about the day 1 thing. But it makes sense when you think about it.

- 9.00 AM on the 1st to 9.00 AM on the 2nd, is one day. Then 9.00 AM on the 2nd to 9.00 AM on the 3rd is two days. Makes sense, when you think about it. Really hard.-
