One more reason I hate living in Kentucky. Never had issues in WI or PA like we do here with the PO.
I told the husband we hit the lottery I am out of here so fast. I have a dream list of places I would buy and move to. Husband says we hit the lottery we will do a "fake" divorce and move out of here and sell this place moving elsewhere.

Well, I have the tracking numbers for both of my shipment of eggs now. The post office delivered hatching eggs to my house before and I make sure that I am here to take them.

Cleaned out the brooder. Feeder and waterer are cleaned daily, but the brooder itself is once a week. We will be getting at least 2 more brooder bins the end of this month. But here are a few of the ones in the brooder atm.

Have a friend who wants chickens, the wife won't let me have/ keep any more this year, I'm cut off but I get to fire up the incubator and hatch a few for friends!

One of the boxes of eggs arrived

Will sit in the turned for the next 48 hours. I will candle then and decide if I will hand turn or have them in the turner.

Both of my ordered batches of hatching eggs arrived today. Of the order that only had 1 dozen hatching eggs in it (White Breese), none arrived broken. In my 2 dozen ordered batch of more B/B/S hatching eggs from another place, 5 eggs were broken and 1 egg is too skinny for my taste to hatch. I had to wipe the yolk off of the good ones. All of the good ones are resting now.

In my batch of eggs, I paid for 24 received 30. There are 4 pullet eggs. I will give them a shit as I have had pullet eggs hatch before.
