great idea....I will do that before hand... great reference point. Thx for your help.Yup! Although my brown & green eggs were harder to see through.
Watch for blood ring and clear eggs.
My son likes to candle an infertile "eating" egg first just for reference.
Make sure it is COMPLETELY dark and give your eyes a minute to adjust with each egg or you may miss something.

I have read conflicting things too...however I will candle on day 7 (any question ables will be re done on day 10) and I will candle again at lockdownSo are we not candling? I have read conflicting posts about it, but what is the consensus here? Mine have only been cooking(maybe I shouldn't say cooking) for 3 days so it is too soon to candle, but do you recommend it?
