I love the pics of Hope and I'd say she is a she, what kind of chick is she? mine were buff/RIR mixes. But Hope is very pretty her color looks kinda of lemony if that is even a word

She is half white leghorn half production red. :3

She gets random brown/black/green feathers here and there. It is very random, and I love to find new ones!

I can't wait to see all of our final chicken outcomes, but I think Hopes colors will be really special, if she was a cat she'd be a calico. Oh there are a couple of Candyman's that I am curious to see what they finally look like, he has some pretty colors going on too.

I only called her a calico because you said [FONT=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]she gets random brown/black/green feathers.[/FONT]

yep........thats some of my mixed flock i was given by my neighbor whiteleghorn/production red, probably later on she'll get some redish feather tips........my neighbors cross look something like this.

I am also not selling any chicks yet because I want to see what they look like when adults. And how many hens and roos, its a learning process for me, thought they eat too much

I've gotta make a coop for them now and move them out of the room, so much pooooooooo and smell in my house

I love chicken more than ever!!
