yep, being that the white leghorn is the bird that lays the largest of white eggs.....the cross will give you not a brown brown egg but more like a brownish light tan color.female cross between white leghorn and production red would lay a large brown egg everyday?

no problem 3D, i understand.......regarding the egg color, my neighbor has all this flock free ranging together, so he has whire leghorn males as well as production red males and i think 4 or 5 golden sex link males also.....the eggs he collects are whites, brown, and a brownish tan color.....he says that its the mix between the white leghorns and the production reds?...........i really have no idea......Thanks for the offer, but I'll have to pass. my flock hasnt started laying yet but i can ask my neighbor if he is willing to give you a dozen or two.
