Two of the others were rocking like crazy yesterday and now are not and have not started to pip... Hope this is not bad news and that they are just taking a long nap.

Let them go and see how they do with zipping.
Some of mine took up to 8 hrs to zip and some were quick. So be patient. The ones I had pip on side 1 out of 2 did ok. I never had anyluck with the ones that zipped down. But I think mine were downward more in middle of egg.

I m glad things are going well for you. I found the rocking eggs were behind the others cause they were still getting in position.

My hatch went bad fast yesterday. 1 of my girls had pipped on side it was late so I left her chipping away at egg. Yesterday In the morning I had to help her. She has what I think tiny bit of intestine sticking out. I have left her be for now. She is now walking well but still sleeps more than others. Think the rest of my eggs are done for I helped to of the chicks out and compromised the rest or perhaps my humidity went little bit too high. Had great hatches at 62% but when it went to 67% I started having complications. I candled and it looks like some quit shortly after lockdown. Only 1 I still see veining in but no movement.

Smaller batch next time.

All in all I saved two so it was worth it. I have learned that my little ones breed true like their parents. Sexable at birth so I now have 6 males and two females.

This is them in their brooder. Red light makes it hard to take pics so I will have to take them out to get better ones.
