Hatch-Along - Hatching Day MARCH 25 (first time using incubator) ANYONE ELSE?

That daily cleaning process must be a full workout!!! I changed my avatar to share some of our sun w/ you guys  . I know this sounds crazy for people with your cold weather but I'd loooove to be there right now. I have never seen snow and (maybe just for the novelty of it) would be glad to shovel some snow for you

. Thank goodness no shovelling I use tractor. We have had a warmer winter though so it s been fun to go outside sliding with the kids down the hills. We moved here to Saskatchewan 2 1/2 years ago. I was born and raised in Northern Manitoba. I still have not gotten used to the wind here. But I can tell you when it is 40 celsius that wind is nice. Especially working in the garden. It looks so beautiful where you live.

Candled tonight for lockdown got movement in 23 and one egg the chick was so dark and squished in there I couldn't see movement. It's probably just fine. Humidity sitting at 62%.

First 1 out at 3:30am. He looks exactly like his dad. I have had a pip in another egg since before this guy came that hasn't made any more progress so far. So hopefully another is not far behind.

Too funny had to post. This is #2

Whoohaaaa chicks already! ... sorry I have been so absent! So beautiful your chicks!
I saw my first rocking eggs... well just two out of eight. But hatching date is tomorrow for me so I guess that's ok.
Did all of them hatch already?
I also got my first two turkey eggs yesterday and today... I think I will throw those in w some chicken eggs on my next batch.

For a broodedr I will use a plastic storage bin with wire and the lamp on top acting as the lid. Of courseit needs to be lined w your choice of lining material. On top of the wire I just use a towel... leaving the open space necessary to achieve the right temperature.

Just the two chicks so far. I have had two pips I have been waiting on since this morning. They are taking their time. It was officially hatch day for me 2 hrs ago so I got lucky and had the first 2 day 20.

I am sure yours will be coming soon. Can't wait to see pics.

To bad the turkeys haven't started laying here would have loved to join you.

Pretty much what I was thinking with giant storage tub.

I lost one.It started leaking water when it pipped so I grabbed it out of bator. It was already gone. Opened it up and at first I thought twins but no 1 gigantic chick and it had even taken over its air cell for growth.
