Hatch-Along - Setting eggs 4/25!! Anyones Else? Hatch date May 16th

I had a hen go broody two days ago, so add 7 more to eggs in the oven count!

I'm at day 13 today. We have 10 eggs left in the bator from the original 14. I also have 4 under the broody hen following by two days.
All systems are go.

Just put the first 41 Rhode Island Red eggs in my Leahy 416, they are due on Memorial Day Weekend. I have 30 Quail eggs coming this week. I just tried hatching a bunch of turkey eggs and chicken eggs in my foam incubator and only won little chicky hatched out. I have my fingers crossed and hopefully we will get some new additions. Pat

Where do you store your eggs when you are gathering them?

I set a batch in my homemade bator on 4/25 myself. My first attempt with barnyard mix. All are brown eggs and hard to tell but candled a few and see some veining

After candling my barnyard mix this weekend I have 15 developing good and one clear!

Candled yesterday, looks like I have 30 viable between the incubator and broody. I had to toss 9 unfertile eggs and the hen ate one of hers.

My eggs aren't looking too good, but they do have really dark/thick shells so I'm not counting any out just yet, in case I'm just not seeing them clearly.

Out of 14 eggs (6 chicken, 6 duck set 4/25, and 2 chicken set 4/29) I only see movement in one of the later chicken eggs. Time will tell I suppose.

I am worried about my hatch

I had a temperature spike, I am not sure how hot it got... It looked like all but one egg was developing, so I will re-candle in a few days.
