I can't wait until Obie is all better adn can play with Harper like she would like her little sister to hopefully she will be improving tomorrow

I really hope so! I feel so bad that you've had so much trouble with the little ones... Not fair! Hope she feels better tomorrow!

We have only given our baby chick one dosage of it so far and it actually seems as if she isn't stargazing as much and has so much more energy wchich is probably from the electrolytes but you can definitely tell a difference so far. I will keep you guys updated on how she is. Planning on giving one more dosage before we go to bed and then again in the morning.

I haven't... maybe PM SilkieSensation, with as much as she's done with hatching she may have. Sorry I couldn't help.

Advice from "reesepoultry" on treating wry neck: Give it a Mareks vaccine
She treated a chick she had picked up for me from Meyers that was about a week old. She treated it Tuesday & when I picked it up from her Wednesday I couldn't even tell which of the 14 chicks had had the problem. It's now running around my brooder with 50+ other babies & I can't tell which 1 it was. Obviously it's doing great & snapped out of it almost instantly.

My net has been down for a couple days & things have been hectic around here as usual. I now have 50+ babies in my brooder, 1 bator in lockdown & 1 due 2/25-3/2 set with 29 quail, 17 shipped eggs from 1 batch, 4 rainbow eggs, 12 eggs from a 2nd shipped batch & 3 Silkie eggs picked up from "reesepoultry" with the quail eggs & 14 Chicks on Wednesday. That makes another 36 chicken & 29 quail set for the end of the month/beginning of next month. I have more chicks ordered from Ideal for this week (10 CX broilers & 3 BB white poults) & am considering adding goslings & ducklings to the order. I have my birdcage brooder open right now & it would be perfect for a few water babies since it's wire bottomed & has a plastic tray under it to catch the mess.

well our little chick with the wry neck actually has improved a lot since lastnight. i have only noticed her throwing her neck back a couple times. which is a big difference from what she was doing lastnight. she was probably throwing her neck back and staying like that more then keeping it the right way so it was starting to get worse so hopefully she makes a full recovery from this!

Her splayed legs also seem to be doing better hopefully just another day or two with the bandages and she will be done. Her sister/brother can't wait until she is all better!!

This weekend has been crazy for our chickens something happening one right after another. One of our pullets has sour crop :( we were able to empty her crop and a lot of liquid came out and a little bit of food. but she still doesn't seem right...thinking maybe there still might be something in her crop.

As for our chicks they are doing better, not as much stargazing for obie so the treatment seems to be working for her
