Hatch-Along - Setting eggs this weekend (Jan5/6) WHOS WITH ME!

Well if i thought we had or hands full before we definitely do now
Meet Benny s buddies
Congrats! Did any of the Lakenvelders hatch? I was given 2 "packing peanut"s that someone didn't want that are said to be Golden Lakenvelders & they by far the cutest chicks I've ever had so much that I'm now looking into getting some hatching eggs of these just for my own fun (aside from all the utility breeds I've been working to get).

No lakenvelders this time...but our lakenvelder from 4weeks ago is almost fully feathered and is beautiful! We love her!

38 More eggs I set ... (I may be addicted ...) The temp wasn't all the way up yet since I had just set them. Took a couple days to get the temp regulated like usual but it's holding at 99 now.

One of the chicks I just hatched from my second hatch

They are doing great!

My nephew being silly. And one of the Buff Orpingtons I traded my neighbor for.

I absolutely love this pic. Such personality!!

I haven't posted any pics from our very first hatch in a while but here one of my girls are from that hatch!
They are very friendly. They run up to my hand every time I reach into their big brooder. They'll be going out into the grow out pen in a couple days. They should already be out there. But i've been a worry wart about the weather.

She was getting curious about my phone.

Ok so I have 33 eggs in LG#1 going to LD TUE, & rest that are a few days behind also in LG#1 total 41

In LG#2 I have 4 diff set dates, about 35 eggs (need to candle shortly)

I MUST MOVE THESE , to a totally diff. room, in the next 10 hrs.

We are allowing a young couple who through no fault of their own ended up penniless & homeless, w/ the wife due to have a baby in 5 WEEKS move into that room,
so she has a safe place for the rest of the pregnancy & after the baby is born for awhile until they can get on their feet. This was obviously not planned when I set these eggs.
They couple's living situation sharing w/ others just got un-safe yesterday to the point there was no choice really given the baby on the way.

So, how in the world am I gonna MOVE 74 or whatever developing eggs & 2 bators across the house??
I think I'll have to combine it w/ early LD into hatchers for the first group of eggs...I guess, its the best thing I can come up w/
move the a few eggs at a time, really carefully yet quickly.

Anyone have any other brilliant ideas how to do this? My brain is fried from puzzling out how to get the homeless, carless, penniless preggo couple through a blizzard from 3 states away to my house in less than 24 hrs, somehow moving live eggs is like one straw too many...

Here is our lakenvelder
ok ours are 2 wks behind so I can imagine they will look this way in 2 wks.
I actually DID get DH to take photos of them today, have to get from camera to post here as a distraction tomorrow...I'm sure everyone is holding their breath to see 'em , not ;P
But I will post & you can tell me if its how yours looked @ 2wks...

What color are your chicks? Ours were mostly black we were kinda worried they wouldn't turn the golden color...but with almost all her feathers she is mostly the golden color
