I have not done this before so looking for others to guide me
As I watch my girls I see no upset in the flock having a broody on some eggs
They don't bother her and she doesn't bother them! But I would like to move her to an area of the run and make her a place to raise the chicks when they hatch. I work all day and would not be here if they decided to pick on the chicks.
What is the best time to move her?
I candled the eggs on day 7 ..they were looking good....so 6/23is hatch day!
Any suggestions??
