hatch date is Friday! Anyone else? IT HATCHED! PICS********

I am starting to get a bit worried about this egg. It pipped about 6 hours ago and made a nice little hole, as you can see in the photo. I can see it moving and its beak sticks out through the hole now and again, but it doesn't seem to be making any progress? i have read on another topic about helping the chick finish zipping if you thought it wasn't going to be able to do it for itself. But do you think its early days yet and i should leave it for another while or should i try to help?

ohhhhhhhhhh leave it!!!!!!!!! It can take up to 24 hours. If it hasnt made ANY progress in 24 hours, I would THINK about helping. Most of the time I regret helping because the chicks is usually deformed or has health issues...... well if they are really valuable to you, help them.

I came home to 2 hatched and 5 more pipped and one zipping and if you count the day I set them today is 21 days.....

well so far I have 12 chicks and 1 pips... 1 chick pipped and zipped then died. Just waiting for action from the rest.

I certainly hope mine hatch with no problems. I already lost two of my feed store bought chicks and I dont think I can handle anything else going wrong.

Not sure what happened. The chicks looked healthy, the brooder was at a decent temp...I hate losing babies.

I have 14 chicks hatched and 2 pips. 1 loss and 5 eggs still waiting.

Ok guys, I trying to play a little catch-up with you all.

Great hatch Monita!
I went to bed last night with nothing yet happening.
But woke up to one just-hatched chick and 5 pips.
this is out of 18 eggs that made it to lock down and today is day 21.
