to be honest your gonna wanna take mom and the little fuzzy butts in to your brooder and away from the others for a while as the other chickens well might get nasty with the loud fuzzy creatures in there home, or the broody mother for that matter( in that case pull the fuzzy buts and put them all in the brooder, if not then after about a week or so you can move the mom back in the the rest of your flock but keep the little chickys in for atleat 4 weeks then slowly merge them with your laying flock but your gonna wanna make like a small area where the adult flock and the chickys cant have physical contact for 3 days and pecking order and blah blah blah

sorry for my lack of grammar.

oh and well as its aprotching winter and its cooling off its best to keep the little chickys inside for the best success rate

You must try again. I've had a rough way to go with this hatch including a power outage for 6 hours on a day with an outside low of 32 F. The outage happened during LOCKDOWN - - OMG

sorry about the loss

I have one I am monitoring now. We had to help it hatch right after that 6 hour power outage when temps got down to 80 inside the incubator.

NAP TIME is so so funny---reminded me of the old movie The Day The Earth Stood Still where the alien stopped time on earth..... I want to take all of them and hold em and smother them with kisses! TOO CUTE:love

well so far all 6 silkies have been with mama in their own
cage in side the bigger coop but up on 2 wood horses, so they should be warm
Not being down on the ground. So its
no heat and they are 4 days old and doing great/
but I just might have to put a 40 watt blub to give
them some heat.its been dropping
down to the 30s in the evenings.
by april
they should be ready to lay.
