There are 5 out right now. 3 in the Brooder (Barrock BR, Beaker EE, and Matilda/Bunsen honeydew EE) and 2 in the bator (Quasi BR and unnamed BR)
I opened the bator, I know that's bad, but there was only one teeny pip and the humidity was super high at the time (almost scarily so) so i think it's gonna be fine. One of the eggs had pipped even before Quasi, had a huge hole open, but hadn't started to zip, so my mom helped it out and them put it back in the bator with Quasi. We freed Quasi's wing, as well. Because he couldn't preen while he was wet, his fluff is kinda jacked. Is there any way to fix that?
He isn't a monster (thank goodness), and is a perfectly normal albeit ugly and jacked up chick.
We still love him.
Ugghhhh tomorrow is gonna be hard. Hatching chicks and school.....
nooooooooooo....
Bedtime for me. I'll try to post pics tomorrow, if i can.
BTW, reagrdig flesh eating chickens, my WR murphy would eat you in a heartbeat. She is a beast, and tried to eat my dad once; luckily he escaped.
