HATCH DAY!!!!!!

1 of 13 hatched real early, the beginning hours of day 21... 4 more have piped...

This is my first go at hatching eggs.. all 13 made it to lockdown. We shall see what happens next..

These are eggs from my sons chickens he raised 3 from chick, 4 since they were 2 months old.. He is soooooooo Excited. He got to see this little one come out of his shell a little bit ago..

That’s awesome! My two children got to witness their first hatch over the past 24 hours as well. I think it’s funny that they refer to all the chicks as “him”. They’ll be surprised when a bunch end up as “her’s”.

Thanks we now have four babies and at least 5 more to come.. 2 I dont think will hatch and 2 others are still wait and see...

Cangrats! Today is day 21 for me also. 2 piped this morning. One hatched when I was at work. It's still wet so must have been just before I got home. She kicked the other eggs all over so not sure what one is the other pip from this morning. Can't see any sign of others piping yet.

We have 7 healthy babies, one is really week after hatch. And one died before I got home today. The shells and membranes were really tuff, I assisted with 3 they were In distress. One was born and couldn’t stand or straighten its neck for almost two hrs I was worried it’s wasn’t going to make it. But it is doing great now..

Still have 4 eggs waiting to see what happens with them.. I don’t think they made it though..

After this batch I’d finished (giving them til Saturday, I hope that’s long no enough). Starting 34 for my hubbys cousin. We r keeping a few of them.

Ok so we have 8 babies... I checked the other eggs.. it was sad to see that all 4 made it all the way to day 19ish.. one made it to around day 20 maybe 21, its yoke was almost absorbed. The other three didnt start absorbing their yokes..
