This is my 1st hatch and when I checked on the eggs just a bit ago I noticed one rocking around

but not due to hatch until tomorrow??

If its wiggling and rocking around it it close to piping and then hatching???

I'm right excited, fingers crossed that all goes well, just alot of un knowns due me being a newbee to incubating lol,

PS: once they start to hatch how long should I leave the chicks in there as they hatch? I don't want to mess up or hurt the ones that haven't hatched yet and have temp drops.

How does everybody else handle this??

Supposed to wait till they are completly dry before putting them in brooder...if u open the bator too much they will lose all humidity and have hard time hatching out

To put it in perspective, when they hatch at a hatchery they go through the process of sexing then packing then through the mail. That is a long time. From the time the first one hatches out you have at least 48 hours before the chick needs food & water.
Can anyone really not open the bator door that long?

Great, Thank ya. If any hatches to day I will leave them overnight.

They won't bother the other eggs much?

Mine hatch yesterday, I'm really excited about this.
