what breed is the black and white chick??

it looks exactly like one of the little bantam chicks we got from ideal.

waiting on one more pipped egg to hatch. looks like the totals are going to be good!

3 out of 5 Mutt eggs hatched. (one never developed and one must have stopped)

23 out of 30 Leghorns will have hatched as soon as this last one is out!
(27 eggs developed)

looks to be a successful hatch!

thank you all. i am just waiting on that last straggler.

one of the Leghorns is white and not yellow!!! just one. so interesting.

everyone that is in the brooder is doing swimmingly! no lethargic chicks, all doing their chick things.

no, i didn't see them. they were off to the butcher. (the project at the university was finished.) the farm manager there is wonderful.

9.99 for 100 quail eggs! holy cats, that's awesome!
