A time stamped professional picture would be good.

Lisa- maybe that's why your chicks are really so frizzly???

I had a stare down with one of them today. He had to "contemplate" me.

Think he is gonna be a barred blue if there is such a thing. Even his footy feathers have barring on them already.

Now my bator is being mean to me!!!

theres a small sliding door that you have to pull back where the bators are and every time i go to look i have to slide the door back well every time i slide the door back the humidity go's down 2%

Crazy chicken boy?

LOL yea she ask me ( you want me to drive all the way there for an egg??? i said YES now come on i'm losing time here ) before she hung up she said you need help LOL!

Me????? noooooo never

2% is not going to hurt anything. I've opened mine and had it drop to 28%... as long as it doesn't take forever for it to come back up, even THAT is ok. You're stressing too much, man. Go get your batteries, and come back. The eggs will still be there.

We're waiting for our first chicks, candling we should have 3 on Sat and about 8 on Mon....we have a lot of quitters, had good veins, started to develop...pulled 2 out had formed but massive air sacs...there were 8 like that...but everybody else seemed normal, these were cream barbanders, my barnevelders, orpingtons and blue andulusas seem fine, my red wells ok too...quitters from 2 sources which had hopefully winners. I have a new this is first batch turbodan with auto turner, good temp control 99-100 and really very stable room...unused downstairs bathroom, the windows are shaded and north facing and shaded by a fir tree. I have a second incubator non-forced air no turner for hatching. any recommendations
