Did you count toes? I think its funny that some of mine have the 5 toes and then some have just 4.

Does the NN have a pink neck and those black feet? Or is it just the angle of the picture/

BB- is that frizzle cutie from Dipsy? If so, I have 3 of her sisters here- Petunia, Penelope, and Punky...they all look pretty much the same as yours. They are almost a week old now...so adorably fluffy!

Those babies are cuter than what is legal, Mark!!! I LOVE your little NN.

My Silkie died. She was hatching, almost done but seemed weak. Then just quit. I actually tried to do CPR but she had already been dead for a bit when I found her I think. Yes, I really did......I know, insane, but I just didn't want to let my son down. I took her out and looked at her. She was perfect, it just doesn't make sense.

Now all that I have is my mother's chickens. 2 out, 3 to go 2 with pips.

sorry to hear that, my first silkie batch I got 2 chicks, second hatch only got 1

. I was so discouraged I ordered a LOT more eggs. I got 8 chicks , then 9 (silkie/sizzle). I had too much humidity and started dry incubating, at least that works up here

. I think you are going to have to try again

. I have silkie/showgirls in the bator right now from burntumber that she sold for a reasonable price and they are doing well. I had a
100% hatch from Marie Martin from her silkie/sizzle, I even got 3 frizzles(or sizzle, can't tell yet) and she too is reasonable. I swear a couple of the chicks from her look lavender, I am waiting for them to feather out to see, they are beautiful

well everyone looks like i'm only going to get one frizzle out the bunch. the rest look like they stop on day 17

but i left them in the bator just in case.. but i'm sure there done.. witch is ok.. atleast i got one

and i'm happy with that one.. ( i will be getting more eggs from Lisa though )

right now i have 2 silkies that have pip one in the wax egg witch i'm scared about..and the other is a buff silkie so i'm waiting onthem to hatch.. and my bobwhite eggs are rockin and rolloing

The worst part was telling my son. Now that is over at least.

I WILL be trying Silkies again. I have to get him one. He is such an animal lover and has his little heart set on one.

I just can't get over how many you have hatching right now...and how many different things!!! You better not give them a reason to get mad.....with as many as you will have they could hold you hostage or something. I bet the wax coated egg will do just fine. There have been a couple of them on here hatch that were waxed recently.
