I just got home and i'm tired as heck!

i look in the bator still no babies

BUT! from what i can see 5 more bobwhite eggs have pip and one is starting to zip some

I think I am going to try to hatch some quial eggs next time....I love hatching - it is thrilling

Well i fell asleep..lol

and when i woke up guess what i saw in the bator......Nothing!..Lol

still the same pips so looks like i'm going to have some day late hatches

****UPDATE****

I have about 4 more pips now and there really good size pips so like i said everytime i hatch quails they always hatch a day late so the way these pips are looking i should have some baby bobwhites sometime tomorrow

Yeah!!! Good luck with your bob whites!!!! I just came home to 5 new babies and a 6th almost out!!! Here's some pics:

I absolutely LOVE using the egg cartons - they hatch so clean!!! The one on the far bottom left is the one that pipped earlier - and it's still not out! Zipped all the way around though so probably by the time I go back down it'll be out -

And they're already hungry!!!

And yea i did notice that about quails like 15mins after they hatch there already eating.... it takes 2 whole days before my chicken chicks start to eat..lol

did you get any goldens? i got one from my hatch with Sam eggs

And yup i have half my eggs coturnix eggs in the carton and half laying on the rack ( i didn't have enough room in the cartons )..lol

What are the goldens - no stripes? If so, nope - none of those yet but I've still got a bunch of eggs to go. Sam sent 15; one was bad and 6 hatched/are hatching so that leaves 9 to go...so there's hope!

Again Sam eggs have great fertility so those 9 left will most likely all hatch
