OH MY LittleRalphieRoosmama.....they are sooooooooo adorable!!!! So little!!! I just want to squish and kiss and cuddle them!!!! They are precious!!!

And Mark.......you are letting me down on the babies here!!!!! (kidding) Come on Mark babies!!! We want to meet you, too!!!!

Well, hopefully when I get up they'll be all hatched and I'll have at least one golden!! I can't stay up like you can so they're on their own. Stay tuned for pics in the AM!!

Oh - we didn't actually fish today. Winds made the lake too rough. Drove to the river and saw some carp but it was too late and Mark wanted to get the meatloaf on the smoker. Turned out really good! And stuffed poblanos too. Going fishing for sure tomorrow now that we scoped out the spots.

*SIGH* My two pitiful little eggs haven't even pipped!!! I guess they are gonna milk this bator time for all its worth.

Hey there... so it was the waxed egg, huh?

I wonder if something got in there before I waxed it that caused the chick's malformity. It definitely has a large crown... have you tried taking any more pictures after it's dried?
:aww I'm so sorry...

for the rest of the silkie eggs... those are due in the next week right?

Oh, and the Bobwhites are SOOOOOO slow from pip to hatch... but once they start zipping, they ALL go! WHEEEEEE! I have pips on my 12 bobwhite eggs, too, and 7 chukar partridge in the hatcher, waiting for a few more to come out so they can go in the brooder.

Good morning! Still only have the 5

#6 is still zipped but just sitting there. I hope it's ok. Nothing yet on the rest but if they don't hatch, it's my fault. I'm honestly surprised I got 5! Had alot of trouble with the humidity being too low for the first couple weeks. Just couldn't get it up to even 35% no matter what I did.

Congrats on your bob pips and Christy, hang in there. Hopefully

today will be your day!!
