LOL i see you have some persuading to do about the sleeping arrangements

i can't wait to see what the name will be...and me i have to many to name..i have to get the old note book out and start writing down some names i can remember..lol

LOL i wish chickens quails and pheasants could talk cuz i would line all the chicks up and say ( Ok here are your names i'm only saying them once so remember them )..lol

i'm siting here making both new brooders and it's driving me up the wall.. i den already cut myself twice trying to cut the plastic...lol and the chicken wire i step on a piece an cut my foot and my arms are all scratched up

Heck I only have 26 birds and have given up on the name thing. I only have named a few because so many of them look similiar. Right now there is a trio of Millies we have renamed "the ditzy (or stupid) hens" because they always get seperated from everyone else and then do the panic chirp.

You will have t post pics of your brooder box BB - I think I'm gonna have to make something a bit bigger. I will have 18 babies in a small rabbit cage - I think they will outgrow it really quick...

:aww sorry you got owies. I ALWAYS get hurt when I try to make things. I like the idea of making them learn their own names. We need to figure out a way to do this!!!!

OMG!!! i just spent the last hour trying to get a bat out my apt

i had some friends come over so i open the balcony door and like 20mins later a little brown bat flew in we were all freaking out LOL.. but i used my bird net and got it and let it back go

And!

i'm done with my brooders!!

it's nothing fancy ...just 2 storage bins from Wal-mart $7 each and i cut a hole in the tops and place chicken wire on it and used the tie things to keep the wire on it

OMG.....yours are just as fancy as my brooders!!!! Alright, fine, yours are fancier!!! I leave the lid off and suspend the heat lamp from the towel bar in my bathroom. That way, they can sit on the side and poop in my floor giving me lots of reasons to complain about them!!!

That is too cool about the bat!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE bats!!!!!! Don't particularly want one in my house though unless I could manage a pet bat!!!!
