Hatch is over....10 lil cuties *Pics*

21 eggs-12 hatched, but 2 are iffy on if they will make it. The first 10 are doing well and mostly fluffed out, so I made them pose for pics

Most of the dark ones look more brown, must be the lighting, they look more black up close. I had a running competition with my broody hen to see which had a better hatch...the incubator won 8-4.


These 4 came out of green EE eggs I got at the auction. I am really curious about the black one with the white spot on its head. 2 hatched in the bator/2 under my broody.

Silver Spangled Hamburg/Australorp mixes. One hatched in bator/1 under broody.

Java/Aus. mix. Hatched in bator.

Chantecler/Aus. mix. Hatched in bator.

Buff Orp/Aus. mix. Hatched in bator-first to hatch.

Silver Laced Wyandotte/Aus mix. Hatched in bator. This is the little runt of the hatch, its starting to perk up a bit more now.

RIR/Barred Rock mix from newnanchic. It was the only 1 of 5 she sent me that hatched. Hatched under broody.

I know what you mean. I had the hardest time getting their pics. Specially the EEs, those feisty lil creatures don't know the meaning of hold still!
