Hatch is OVER! PIC heavy, parting shots!

This little baby is number one of my second round of mutt eggs!! I wonder if all 29 eggs will hatch.. I had 30 but one quit around day 11. The others all looked good while candling(at least, the ones I could see into)

Congrats! I am so jealous! My broody is sitting on 10 mutt eggs, but we're only on day 4. I barely started and I already am getting anxious!!

thanks! the next one pipping is the white one in the bottom left corner of the pic..I wonder what color chick it'll be. the last bunch of mutts there where no dark chicks like #1 here!

Morning!! here is first baby!

he is soo ronery in the brooder.. So I'm holding him as I type..7 more pips!
He has a slew of possible fathers, EE roo, RIR roo, black Australorp roo, barred rock roo, Buff orp roo, White cochin roo. There may be others but the gal had so many chickens it was hard to tell..
