Hatch On Dates: Oct-nov? Dont Forget About This Post!!!

Just finished my day 7 candling - 11 of 12 are viable. How long should I leave the other, which I'm guessing is a clear, before yanking it? It's mostly clear on candling - no vessels, no blood ring, just a vague darker oval of yolk.

I have video of a little moving embryo.

some of mine arnt to crear eaither, i really think they r bad, but where the veins and baby should be it has a detached air cell which covers the area and other eggs like this i can see some veins in the eggs, and thos r good, soo im leaving alot of the eggs for now, going to toss some clear ones today.

GRRRRRR! My power just went out! I called the power company and they estimate they will have it restored in 3 hours!! I have towels wrapped around the incubator. Let's hope it comes on sooner! I also have week old peeps that are throwing a huge fit over their heatlamp being off!

Hope they get it turned back on ASAP! I would flip if my power went out.. I would be in panic mode! I wouldn't be able to think straight!

At day 7, if it's clear and definitely not looking like the others, toss it. Don't give it a chance to go stinky and explode on your good eggs. You could crack it into a bowl, stir it up, microwave it for a few seconds and feed it to your chickens for a treat.

looks good Steph! I've been having temp swings in the wiggler so I'm thinking of candling tonight instead of tomorrow, I just gota see if they are ok

Power was out for 2 hours. I got a generator from the in-laws, had it running for 10 minutes before power was restored. The temperature was down to 84'. What is everyones opinion on their survival?
