Hatch On Dates: Oct-nov? Dont Forget About This Post!!!

I'm ok I apparently treated brochitis like a minor cold and I was weezing and gasping and then took an inhaler which sent my bp out through the roof. They gave me new inhalant to take and and 2 steroid shots and 2 breathing treatments last night. I am just lucky it wasn't pneumonia. I got a good lecture on the importance of taking time off when really sick.

I am just going to keep going on the eggs and really pray for the best. I was a bit teary but I can't be mad. He knew I was sick and was trying to help out. Gave me a big hug and told me what he did for me. Heartbreaking but sweet.

Well just wait till she lets them out to be safe

ok
do you know went she will let them out

Just like when we incubate we have to move them to the brooder after they hatch, the hen has to keep them warm for a few days also. she might sneak off the nest to get food and go to the bathroom so you might be able to take pics then

Nope, it will be a few days before they need anything, they are still absorbing the yolk internally. Might want to put food and water close to the hen so she doesn't have to walk too far to get it

Just put eggs in lockdown I filled all the reservoirs and put 3 wet sponges in, temp is at 91 humidity was at 50 but has now dropped down to 48 on the digital the other one says 70% I don't know witch one to trust

I get to lockdown my few remaining (6 out of 28 thanks to a scammer that gave me old rotten eggs!) eggs tomorrow, so excited! They may hatch way before Monday though, since they are bantam eggs and seem to be totally filling the eggs already!
